Thanksgiving Weekend + Black Friday

Wednesday:

Troy, Matt, Lucian, and Jomar come after school.

Help out with the food drive.

Drive home

later that night, end up doing a "pre-thanksgiving dinner" with the bros.

went to best buy and played video games with troy, ray, tim, eric, and matt around 630-8ish

then headed to hometown buffet 8-9ish

back to my place for basketball/chill 9-1030ish

Thursday:

Mass at MHT Multicultural mass: spanish, filipino, vietnamese, samoan

lunch then home

dinner at grandma's --> surprisingly have turkey for first time in 4 years! mmmm goooood. Chill and catch up with cousins

go home ---> Midnight pick up tim and go to Matt's to get ready for black friday

Friday:

midnight, meet up at Matt's place

matt, eric, kevin kai, tim, me, cmara, and miggy

we go driving around --->visit crisann at 2am

decide to go to Newpark at 3am

wait in line for days at target

go shopping at 5am

hit up vfair at 630ish

meet up with troy and kristi --> don't buy much

go to gmall and hit up old navy with matt---> spend 2 hours in the store waiting in line/shopping and chill with jurizza

have to pick up mimi back at vfair

go eat at sweet tomatoe

go home and get ready to go to my uncles house with dad

eat and fall asleep at my uncles

skip the mhs/phhs game and the bell/serra game (mhs wins 15-14; bcp wins 21-10)

eat sendai with mimi, tim, and crisann

go to crisanns house and play rock band

head over to troys house and play madden

home ---> sleeeeeeep

Saturday:

wake up early and go to work...-___-

ONG COMES HOME AND VISITS THE SHOP!

go home and spend time with family

headoff to the sf/vc game. (sf wins 14-12)

pick up my cousin and go watch the blind side (greaaat story)

Sunday:

wake up early and have breakfast with grandpa and cousins

head to cupertino to work on an english presentation...-____-

get home around 330ish

hellla tired

take a nap until 730ish

wake up and get ready for mass

get home and shit load of homework

November is Anti-climactic

Seriously, I felt like November has been the most boring month. I guess after Halloween and October, everything kinda just fell apart. Nothing exciting has been going on. My Fridays and weekends are boring. School sucks. Where's December?

Mimi's Birthday Dinner

Had dinner at my dad's house with my sisters for Mimi's birthday!

Crystle and Charlie came over and brought salmon, oysters, and crab. Chrissie and Jason came soon after with more food. It was a good night.

Parked about a mile away but realized that the parking spot was only for two hours and the game didn't start for three hours.

Walked to Memorial stadium

walked back to put in more money - good thing too because tickets were doubled on game days.

Went to game - it was pretty cool, Kevin Riley was awful though, but the Bears pulled out a 24-16 win over the Arizona Wildcats.

Met up with Mom for Pho

Went to Karl's for the Pacquiao vs Coto fight - Pacman wins in the 12th round by TKO.

CCS Girls Tennis won Semi-finals

Late for work grant

Helped out George set up for the Football game

7th Grade Day at SFHS so Mr. Speckman asked me to help out and give tours and answer questions during the program. During Q&A, one of the parents asked about the difference between Holy Cross and Jesuits. Everyone answered. I think I represented well. Nervous though.

After we gave quick tours around campus and then got some dinner.

I dropped off Mimi at home and then headed to SJB for mass. It was Mrs. WB's funeral ceremony.

We all headed to the reception after in Pavalkis hall and I got to see some of my old friends and SJB teachers and Alumni.

Saint Francis won 66-13 against SHC in the regular season final at home. Coach Mitchell was thrown a party after for his last home game. Kyle Miller broke some school records for TD passes. Headed to the CCS playoffs!

Workout Wednesdays

Work out Wednesday's with Matt, Eric, and Jomar. Time to get back into shape.

Mondays Kickback Crew

Chill first period. Cmara ditched for McDonalds. History had a paper ball war (reenacting WW1 trench warfare). Art progressing on my self-portrait. Math fell asleep! Need to get ontop of my game on this class.

The week is so much less stressful with the MKC. Yay!

I spent time with my dad this weekend. I hadn't seen him in a few weeks. It felt good.

Saint Francis vs Bellarmine game

Huge crowd. I wasn't really feelin' it after school. It wasn't until the kickoff that I really got excited. Ran up and down the sidelines cheering and taking pictures.

The rally at the beginning of the day really un-pumped me. It wasn't bad, but it didn't hold me spirit up. It started off pretty cool with the whole team doing the Haka.

After school things got busy. I had to set up the BBQ for work grant. It started raining, so I was nervous for the game. Luckily, the skies cleared up.

Now for the game, it was a very intense match up. Great rivalry. I was hella into it all week. Pumped up, researching the rivalry and what not. Saint Francis started off pretty bad and slow. We had two costly turn overs in the first half that destroyed all our momentum. We trailed at the half 14-0. In the second half, we came back and got things rolling! Came out strong with passion and attacked the ground game. Kyle Miller and company eventually tied the game up at 21-21 with about 3min left in the 4th with a touchdown pass. Our defense couldn't hold Bellarmine and they got the leading score with 1 min remaining, BUT they missed the extra point! Now we got the ball back with a chance to win the game. The pressure was on and both sides were pumped and going crazy. We had a few long throws, but the Bell's defense was excellent. They sacked us twice for a loss and got the clock rolling. With only one shot left, Miller threw the ball down field but was far off from the endzone and time expiring.

Bellarmine won 27-21 in a tight finish. Hats off to their defense, they stopped us in the crucial plays. And our three or four turnovers costed us the game. We'll see them again in the playoffs.

SFHS Open House

Gaaahhhh...

Day light savings is here at last! Finally! Had to wait allll the way until November.

Anyway, despite having an "extra hour" of sleep today, I had to wake up at 8AM to getting ready and be at school by 845am for Open House. I was working a few booths until I went to one of the class stops where students were giving talks. I was chosen to help lead a talk on the Social aspect of our school. Yaaay. I was a bit nervous so my first speech was very rattled. My voice cracked and I stuttered. Hooray. Whatever, I carried on with enthusiasm. Worked the whole day 8am-3pm. Got home and was extremely tired.
