Thank you month of April for your constant challenges that made me rise to the occasion and for the memories of a great month. Long tiring days, fun memorable nights. It was all good.

Here comes May! The end is near, and the seniors will graduate. Enjoy this last one!

Mitty Meet

School bizz

Normal school. Boring. Student elections are tomorrow and I hope I reached out enough during my campaigning. Oh well, "Nguyen ftw".

I busted my knee yesterday at practice. I think I hyper-extended it? I don't know. I've been pretty stressed lately. I couldn't even think straight yesterday. There was so much going on that I couldn't even pay attention. I've been a mess. I just need to push forward for the next 4 weeks! AH!

Anyway, today at the Mitty meet, I don't think all our teams did too well. I really wanted our G/B Frosh/Soph and G/B Varisty to end undefeated. Anyway, I did amaaaazingly well. I swear, its like everytime I come back from an injury I PR. I jumped 19'3.5'' today! Thats 2 feet from my previous PR!

*Edit* Frosh/Soph and Varisty ended up winning in the end! We smashed Mitty at the end of the meet. Turns out three teams won, while the girls varsity team lost. Lets push for one more meet against Riordan and then sweep the WCAL and claim CCS.

Haaaaaaaaa, adolescent life is challenging.

So I'm exhausted from the weekend. I pretty much got roughly 15 hours of sleep ALL weekend.

School was waaack. Biology test and then an in class essay which I barely finished. Wrote my conclusion in literally 2 minutes.

So like, I basically didn't eat for 22 hours. That can't be healthy. Hooray for 5 Hour Energy!

So, sleep deprived, hungry, and exhausted, I skipped practice and went to In-N-Out with Brian, Courtney, and Raiden.

Oh, it tasted ever so good. I went home and took a three hour nap and then stupidly decided to edit ALL of the pictures over the weekend. All 400+ of them. Took about 3-4 hours. Uploading failed so I slept.

Best part of it all, its ONLY Monday. And I have the joys of waking up each morning and doing it all over again for the rest of the week.

So, no "fml", more of a "Hah! take that life!"

Return from Spring break!

So basically, this week has been a joke at school. My first two days of classes I've done almost nothing. I know that the seniors don't really care much and are suffering from senioritis but I think I'm feeling it too. That or, "SpringbreakisoverandsummeriscomingupIjustdon'twanttobeinschool-itis". Haha, something like that. Seriously though, all I do in the morning until my noon classes is either sleep, play cards, ditch, eat, or use my iPod.

Anyway, the school musical has opened up. Saint Francis High Present: The Sound of Music.

DoReMiFaSoLaTiDo has been stuck in my head for awhile. Its all right, not that great so I don't think I'm going to go see it.

On Wednesday I left school at 1245pm to go to Saint Ignatius in San Francisco. I did all right, but I wanted to do a lot better. My jumps were inconsistent. I ended up getting 16ft for Long Jump and 36ft for Triple. We left SI at like 7pm and back to SFHS at 8. I drove home and Ray was stuck on 101. Haha, I got back at 830pm.

The rest of the week was pretty all right. I turned in my Election Platform for Junior Class Senator.

Happy 4/20.

What a way to end Spring Break. While everyone else has school, SFHS has one more day off.

I spent my last spring break day pretty well. Probably one of the better days of my break, which is good.

I had to pick up my sister from Fremont in the morning and then drop her off. After I drove all the way down to the Evergreen area and chilled with Christian. I then visited EVHS after school and hung out with Jansen. He showed me around and then I gave him a ride home. I went back to Christian's place for a bit longer. I went home at around 530pm and then headed over to Kevin Catap's place for his pool party with MHS kids since they are on Spring Break now. It was pretty fun. I good way to end a long hot 93degree day. The pool party was fun. I hung out with everyone and played Pool style Rug Ball. Went home at around 815pm. I had dinner and watched the playoffs. Then off to cramming homework. All right!

So, good-bye spring break. This year was fun and well worth. I'm actually not all that upset that school is returning. Just a few more weeks until summer! Yay!

Spring Break

Monday:

So today was a pretty good day. I had nothing planned out so I just went with whatever. I woke up in the morning and got some Mountain Mike's pizza for my sister and I for lunch. Then I met up with Ray and we headed over to Matt's place. Karl and Jansen came over and we chilled. Headed to Milpitas again to hang out. The usual "hellos" and "how are you"'s. After everyone but Erika, Angelica, we decided to get some Wingstop, complements of Matt and Jansen.

50 wings are what we ordered. Good bye $40. Can't say it wasn't good though. Afterwards we went to Gill and took some pictures. Angelica left and I took Erika home.

Headed back to my place and chilled. Ended up playing "Fut-Basketbol" or "Soccer-ball" which is playing basketball but with kicking the ball like soccer instead of dribbling. That was fun...until I rolled my ankle. My track coach with be pissed. I just skipped a week of practice to rest my Shin splints that left, now I rolled my ankle. Great. Anyway, it was a fun day!

Tuesday:

WINDY. VERY WINDY. SO WINDY A TREE BROKE DOWN.

Anyway, my day was pretty boring. Like...kinda really boring. I didn't do anythign all day.

I attempted to start reading To Kill a Mocking Bird, but that was a fail. I stopped after 4 pages.

Anway, I spent time and chilled with Mimi. We went to Savers around 5pm and then we went to Gmall and got some clothes. Went to Boarders after and got some Tap-X.

We came home to a UPS truck outside and my sister had the biggest smile on her face. Internet was back... Hah.

Wednesday:

Today was a Monday-Repeat. Went to Rays and we ate at Las Vegas and ran into Kristine Santos. Then headed over to MHS with Matt and Jansen again. Chilled at Ray's after. Jumped Chris Ngo. Locked my keys in trunk. iFail. Got them out. Drove Mimi to practice. Dropped off Erika.

Thursday:

I didn't do anything too fun today. Mostly semi-productive things? Fixed the garage light, car light, bought a filter for my lens, went to Confirmation meeting, read a little bit, spent time with my sister. I went out to dinner with my sister at like 830. Picked up guitar and learned a little bit. It was a fairly productive day. No homework though.

Friday:

Haha, so why is that I find myself at MHS every other day? Hah, anyway I had lunch at Ray's then chilled with Jomar for a bit. Headed back to MHS with Ray and Jansen. Karl Orotea came shortly after. We all chilled. I gave Kristine Santos a ride to her friend's. Lots of people went to Jr. Prom that night, hope they all had fun. Soon after, I left for Ariana's Easter/SFHS/SJB06 Reunion party. It was pretty fun. Chilling with everyone. Easter egg hunts, bon fires, s'mores, guitar playing, Wingstop Atomic challeges. It was a good time. Pretty tiring day though.

Saturday:

I had a planned out 8:03am negotiation. My mom previously told us that Mimi and I weren't allowed to go up to Sac-town for a Cousin's Sports Day type thing. We were pretty bummed out. So I woke up early and negotiated an agreement on which means we were allowed to go. After talking, trying to find phone numbers, tons of calls and texts to many people, I persuaded my mom into letting us go. So Jenn&John and Crystal&Charlie picked us up around 1030am and we headed towards Sac. Hella traffic though so we didn't get there until 130pm. It was fuuun. BBQing with the cousins. There was this secret plan to water balloon anyone who mentioned ANYTHING about how "hot the weather" was. Hahah, it was great. People slipped up and said the "H" word. We played volleyball, steal the bacon, and an egg toss, in which whoever drops or cracks the egg has to sit in a bucket full of water. It was pretty bad. Haha, it was a pretty fun day. We left Sac at about 7pm and got home at 930pm.

Sunday:

It was so hot today. Like 88degrees.

Confirmation Mass at 1230 --> then Jamba Juice, where like 6 people from church came, hah.

I went home and watched the Playoffs but fell asleep. The rest of the day I was trying to find something to do. Dropped Mimi off in Fremont and saw HELLA big houses. Ate Las Vegas around 8pm. Came home and relaxed.

Hello Internet

So, my internet is back and I'm not all that excited.

I can already feel myself sitting here at my desk for hours at a time as the world moves on..

I'm kinda late on my Lenten promise but I'm happy and fortuitous that my internet went down during Holy Week. It gave me a chance to live up to my promise. 

Picking up on Ukulele over break has been a fail so far. I need to find one. Or maybe I'll go back to guitar.

 

There's been a lot on my mind.

I don't think all these blog post are necessary, but whatever. Who's counting?

Holy Week

Wednesday:

A3 day at school.

Basically all I seriously did today was play cards in every class. It was a blow off day.

After school J.Lai, Jesse, Marissa, and Brian went to In-N-Out because we were all super hungry.

Went to this Party City type story after and then Rasputin's and chilled. Mountain View isn't so fun to hangout in, except for Shoreline, but we made the best of it.

(BTW, I'm running for Junior Class Senator)

Holy Thursday:

First day of break!

I chilled with Raymond at his place and then we met up with Matt and Karl at MHS. Chilled with them for a bit and then headed to Q-Cup. We enjoyed our time there with some nice food before heading over to Kevin's to chill for a bit. Went to mass at SJB at 7pm.

Good Friday:

I didn't do much today because it was Good Friday. I decided to go to mass twice. Once at 3pm with Jomar at St. Elizabeth's because the girls were singing. And then after, I went to mass again at MHT for Vietnamese mass. I spent like 6 hours in between. I got home at 9pm.

Holy Saturday:

I spent the morning with my cousins. We had brunch at Sushimaru and then chilled at the park.

I don't really remember the rest of Saturday...

OH! I watched Marley & Me. I think its a really good movie.

EASTER SUNDAY:

Went to Barnes & Nobles in the morning and then had a BBQ at my mom's friends place. We played volleyball. It was pretty fun. Then mass at SJB at 445pm followed by dinner at my grandma's house. I saw Marley & Me again...

Lately, I've been going to bed and waking up earlier. And you know what? It feels GREAT.

This whole week, being disconnected with the internet, it has this uplifting feeling to it.

I started and finished The Perks of Being a Wallflower and it is pretty much one of my favorite books. Thanks Angela. Much appreciated. Then watching Marley&Me and not having the internet suck my sanity out was great.  I felt at peace with myself.

Recaps are kinda hard. So I'm gonna leave it at things I did. I don't really like to tell the world about my secrets. So yeah... I'm good, I hope you are, too.

Long ass weekend. Time has finally caught up and is about to bite me in the ass.

Teachers had to cram in everything right before Spring break, so I'm screwed. Hella homework for every class.

I'm exhausted. Up til 1am writing a paper and trying to memorize a poem. I went to school without even finishing all my homework and tried to cram it in all my other classes.

My recitation was pretty bad. I had the poem memorized up until I presented. Everything just blanked. On top of trying to last minute memorizing, I had to finish reading The Great Gatsby which I didn't finish.

I skipped practice because I was so exhausted+knee and shins.

I do NOT want another one of these days. I went home and took a nap. Was really lazy to do anything, so I just watch the NCAA Championship. UNC won. Hooray!

Instead of studying for my tests coming up....

No "FML"'s here. I actually enjoy my life. It can be tough though, but bring it on.

Spring Spirit Week: D5 - Sports Day

Day 5. "Sports day"

Sports day... I didn't do much during the day.

After school I went to practice then Confirmation then ND mixer.

ND Mixer was pretty bad IMO.

Spring Spirit Week: D4 - Class Colors

Day 4. Class Colors Day, aka. Brown shit all over the place. Haha

Anyway, today was class colors. I wore white, Junior, colors. Whatever.

Uhmmm...It was a pretty okay day. Not much happened besides the normal school. Plus Drums test and Bio test. 

After school, I went to see if I and some of my friends could start a new youth group at SFHS. Kinda like a Prymer or YFC or whatever. We're working on it!

Track practice was pretty sucky. My shins started hurting all over again and my knees felt pretty bad. So I ended up walking most of the work outs and then just leaving to ice them.

I went to see the meet and saw Kerynne and Brandon Nguyen. That was cool.

Anyway, I went home and ate Las Vegas and cut Jomars hair.

OH! Progress reports came in today. I was looking at my grades and for some strange and amazing reason, my Spanish grade just shot up! It was like a miracle, since it used to be my worse class, I have a solid A in it now! Whooooo! Which, brought my overall GPA back to a 3.77 same as last semester. And if I can raise a couple of my boarder line classes, I can have a 3.8!

Spring Spirit Week: D3 - Career Day

Day 3. "Career Day"

Uhm..yeah...lame.

APRIL FOOL'S?!?!

Yeah, no jokes this year, lame.

Wow, first of the month. March is gone, April is here. Spring break coming up!

Anyway, I didn't really know what to dress up as, so I threw on a cool shirt with some headphones and called myself a DJ. Whatevs.

Mimi was a "YouTube Star" Hahah.

Anyway, today we had ASB elections and I didn't really care. We had alumni presentations and I went to see the Architecture presentation. I was boring, so I ditched the rest of the hour and went to the cafeteria and chilled.

I got to leave school early because of a Track Meet at Valley Christian. 

They have a helllla nice campus. But anyway, I did reaaaallly bad again. Shin splints + trice scratches on my jumps.

Oh well, I went home and chilled. I thought today was Thursday...fail.
